
Montgomery Antiques and Interiors was proud to sponsor the Camellia Bowl Halftime Charity Challenge during the 2019 Camellia Bowl at the historic Cramton Bowl stadium in Montgomery, AL. As the sponsor of the competition, Montgomery Antiques selected two local nonprofit organizations to go head to head in a football competition. The two organizations were Child Protect and Family Promise.

During the Punt, Kick, Pass halftime competition, Sidney Lanier kicker Roderick Smith went head to head with Auburn University quarterback Jeremy Johnson. In the end, Smith came out on top.

As the winner of the challenge, Family Promise won $10,000 for their organization, which supports homeless and low-income families achieve independence. Child Protect, a children’s advocacy center that supports the victims of child abuse, won $5,000 as the runner ups in the challenge.

“We are so grateful that Andrew chose us as one of the charities,” said Child Protect representative Janna Bailey. “We never take stuff like this for granted.”
